A piano is several hundred pounds of tension balanced on legs that were never meant to be carried. We move them the way piano movers always have: strapped to a padded board, tilted with control, rolled on a four-wheel dolly, with the route protected before the first tilt.
Grands are prepared properly — lid secured, legs and lyre removed and wrapped separately, body moved on its straight edge. Safes, stone tables, and oversized pieces get the same rigging discipline. On stairs, the crew is sized for the weight, not for optimism.

Yes — with a board, straps, and a crew sized for the weight. Send photos of the stairwell in advance and the right crew and equipment arrive the first time.
Do you move safes?
Yes, including heavy gun safes, along with stone and marble pieces and oversized furniture. The same rigging discipline applies.
What does a piano move cost?
Inside a full move it's simply added crew time on the written estimate. Standalone moves are quoted flat once we've seen photos of the piano and both access points — uprights typically run $350–$550 and baby grands $550–$900, depending on stairs and access.
